YOUR ROLE

• Lead the team of experts for Wage and Excise Tax and develop for continuous improvement of the team
• Monitor and coordinate daily work and workflow
• Support the team in solving complex tax issues
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws especially with a focus in Germany
• Initiate the implementation of new legal requirements and automation of processes 
• Maintain contact with tax authorities and other tax institutions
• Conduct internal trainings and participating in external working groups
• Request advice and coordinating external tax advisors
• Manage german tax audits and tax litigation

YOUR SKILLS

• Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, or law with a focus on Tax Law; German certified tax advisor preferred 
• Several years of relevant experience in Wage and Excise tax (consulting firm or business with a comparable size to Henkel) 
• Leadership experience and high social competence
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and implement digital tools to optimize processes 
• Business fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
